A 73-year-old Queensbury man is accused of bringing narcotics into the correctional facility. WRGB reports an investigation determined that Keith D. Powell brought narcotics into Washington County Jail during his visit there on Wednesday. He’s charged with Promoting Prison Contraband and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Streaking Moose BBQ, located at 990 Route 149 in Queensbury, has permanently closed. The restaurant made the announcement in a Facebook post on July 23. At least four thousand power outages were reported north of Glen Falls Wednesday night, according to National Grid. As of 10:42 PM, many of the outages were concentrated on the western shores of Lake George. WRGB reports the outages were reported after thunderstorms moved through the area.
