Celebrating the Art of Community Closing Reception

Tri-County Literacy Center is currently holding their annual “Celebrating the Art of Community Art Show” at the Friends Gallery located on the second floor of Crandall Library in Glens Falls. Tri-County Literacy Center is an organization focused on assisting adults with increasing their literacy skills by working one-on-one or in small groups with volunteer tutors. Funds raised by the sale of the art in the show supports these activities.

There will be a closing reception on Thursday, May 30th, from 5 to 6:30 pm in the Friends Gallery. A number of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work and answer questions. All artwork is priced at $200 or less and buyers will be allowed to take their pieces home the evening of the event.
