State police said alcohol was likely a factor in the crash caused by a woman who drove the wrong way on the Northway last month. The Post Star reports the accident happened on September 28th in Lake George when 59 year old Cynthia Murphy of South Glens Falls was traveling the wrong way in the northbound side of the highway, and collided with a car driven by 35 year old Jamie Yard of Lake George, who suffered serious injuries in the crash.

    Warren County Health Services confirmed 27 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, as well as 34 new recoveries. Public Health officials were monitoring 248 active coronavirus cases. Five of those were hospitalized, down by one from Monday. Seven new cases on Tuesday were among individuals who had been fully vaccinated.
